Techno on vinyl

Techno was born in Detroit in the mid-eighties and found its second home in Berlin after the fall of the Wall: four-to-the-floor kick, synthesisers, drum machines and few concessions to melody, at 125 to 145 BPM. Our crate holds mostly European techno from the 90s and 2000s on 12" maxi, the format it was made for.

26 records available of Techno at beatdo. All second-hand, graded record by record to the Goldmine standard.

Techno: frequently asked questions

What is the difference between techno and tech house?

Tech house keeps the swing of house; techno is more mechanical, darker and more repetitive. Each record's page lists all its styles, so you don't have to guess.

How is the condition of a used techno record graded?

With the Goldmine standard, record and sleeve separately. Many techno 12" records were released in generic sleeves, and the page tells you whether the copy comes with its original sleeve, a generic one or none.
