Temprogressive: 20 records that have passed through the crate

The story of Temprogressive

Temprogressive was a label from Cornellà de Llobregat, in the Barcelona area, active between 1999 and 2003. As the name suggests, it worked in trance and progressive back when those two styles shared a DJ booth without anyone seeing a problem.

The catalogue that has passed through here is twenty references, all inside that arc, with trance first and hard trance and hands up behind. Among the names is Ralph Fridge, which is the sort that places a label: melodic European trance, released and played here.

The TP prefix

References run on TP, four figures and the MX suffix: TP9032MX, TP9145MX, TP9285MX. The four-figure block grows very neatly, so on this label the number does date the record: a low two-figure TP90 is from 1999, and a long TP92 is already in 2002.

How to recognise a Temprogressive release

The catalogue numbers we have seen follow the pattern TP. It is the first thing to check on the centre label when a record comes with no sleeve, which in this repertoire is the norm.
